Battle of the Bowls

COMPETE IN BATTLE OF THE BOWLS!

Think you make a pretty darn good soup or chili? Show us your stuff! All types of bowls are welcome: traditional, chicken, white, green, beef, vegetarian, spicy or something completely unique. We are registering contestants from now through November 7th. Details and registration information can be found below.

  • All contestants need to bring 2 gallons of your soup or chili entry in a slow cooker or Nesco along with a serving ladle.
  • A toppings bar will be available for guests to customize their bowls

PUBLIC EVENT INFORMATION

  • When: Saturday, November 14 from 12 – 2pm
  • Where: Hyland Campus – 881 Liberty Blvd., Sun Prairie
  • Cost: $5/person – pay at the door
    • All proceeds benefit the Sun Prairie Fire Department

Not interested in competing? Come hungry! Mark your calendar for November 14 and join us at Hyland Campus to sample a variety of delicious soups and chilis and cast your vote for the area’s BEST SOUP OR CHILI! Cost is $5 per person and all proceeds benefit the Sun Prairie Fire Department.

TIMELINE

  • Contestant Registration: NOW through November 7th
  • Battle of Bowls Event: Saturday, November 14
    • 11–11:30 AM: Contestants arrive and set-up
    • 12–2:00 PM: Public tasting and voting
    • 2:00 PM: Awards presentation for 1st, 2nd and People’s Choice

Awards will be given for First Place, Second Place and People’s Choice!
