Giving Back to Those Who Served – One Dream Flight at a Time

Since 2015, one of the highlights of the year is Capri’s participation in the annual Dream Flights program. Dream Flights is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to honoring senior military veterans by providing them with the adventure of a lifetime: a flight in a Boeing Stearman biplane. These are the same aircraft used to train military aviators in the 1940’s.

Each summer, a selected group of Capri veterans from our various communities gather at local Waukesha and Dane County airports to take flight. Watching family, friends and Capri employees cheer on our resident flyers is a heartwarming and joyous day. The experience also inspires our flyers to share their stories to be collected and preserved.
