After reviewing more than 70 heartfelt and nostalgic Wisconsin State Fair memories, our panel of judges faced the difficult task of selecting five finalists featured below. Each finalist video beautifully captures the magic, tradition, and spirit of the Wisconsin State Fair, and we’re excited to share them with you.
Now it’s your turn. Help us celebrate these stories by voting for your favorite(s). While all five finalists are already winners, the video that receives the most votes by end-of-day July 14 will be crowned our Grand Prize Winner and receive bragging rights along with a priceless State Fair prize package.

JULY 1: Five finalists revealed and public voting begins.

JULY 14: Public voting concludes.
JULY 15: Golden Memories contest winner and runners-up announced at 6:00 pm before the running of Cream Puff 5K.
Golden Memories’ Finalist videos will also be shared on August 10, 2026 – Senior Day at the Wisconsin State Fair (10 am – 4 pm), sponsored by Capri Communities.
Golden Memories Contest Prizes
(1) Grand Prize Winner will receive:

- (1) Reserved, personalized picnic table bearing the winner’s name to be placed in Central Park at Wisconsin State Fair
- (4) Passes to Friends of the Fair private lounge

Compliments of Capri Communities and back after an 8-year hiatus, mark your calendar for the return of SENIOR DAY at the Wisconsin State Fair! All adults 60+ will receive $7 admission, reduced from $15. And don’t miss Capri’s Enjoy Life senior celebration that will take place at the Central Park from 10am – 4pm. Games, prizes, raffles, entertainment, relaxation and much more!
