Affordable Independent Living

Built on the United Community Center’s campus (UCC) in conjunction with the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee, OLGA Village is a landmark housing community dedicated to providing environmentally sustainable and affordable living options for Milwaukee’s seniors. The property provides (37) affordable apartments. Residents have access to all UCC older adult programs including a senior meal program, arts and crafts, music, cultural arts, transportation, social, recreational and educational services.

The building’s design incorporates several green features including ground-source heat pumps, a green roof, energy-efficient windows and doors, earth-friendly construction materials, and a stormwater management system.

Residents must meet income restrictions as required by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Qualifying residents enjoy rent levels at or below affordable rent limits set by program and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
