Capri Communities Expands Dane County Presence to Cottage Grove

Capri has announced the acquisition of a 10-acre campus in Cottage Grove. Aster Assisted Living, Assisted Memory Care and the Drumlin Residences will now be known as Drumlin Reserve. Capri has also assumed management of Drumlin Tower and Olde Town Apartments on the same campus. The campus is also home to a condominium community and a mixed-use development and restaurant. Originally developed and owned by a Cottage Grove legacy family, they will continue have other investments on the campus.

Capri Communities manages 25 locations including stand-alone Independent Living to integrated Independent Living – Assisted Living – Memory Care campuses. Capri is consistently recognized as one of the best senior living providers in Wisconsin. Rated as a top place to work, their approach to management all revolves around “Enjoying Life.”

Drumlin Reserve includes vibrant independent living to supportive assisted living to engaging memory care. The campus features open-concept senior living apartments, underground, heated parking, and natural surroundings. The Blu Grotto Memory Care program will be used throughout the Memory Care setting. Capri has been operating the campus since May 2020 and has achieved 95% occupancy.

Travis Borchert serves as Executive Director of the Campus. Borchert has been on the Drumlin Campus since early May. He comes to Drumlin with 12 years of progressive leadership experience, all in the senior living industry. He has managed or led a wide variety of senior living campuses in Madison, and other areas of Wisconsin.

A Grand Opening celebration will be scheduled in the future when larger gatherings are safe and permissible.
