When you live in a Capri Community, you have the opportunity to GROW. We created a unique program that engages your mind, body and soul through activities and social interactions. The program is called GROW and stands for Gain and Retain Overall Wellness. It provides intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, physical and vocational opportunities so that you or your loved one can enjoy life every day.
To us, age is just a number. It doesn’t limit your involvement or capability. It’s up to the individual to participate in as much as they like. We offer the variety so that you can find the right balance for your lifestyle. Our goal is simple – providing meaningful engagements.
The Lifestyle Enrichment Team uses research from the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) and feedback from residents to develop the programming. It’s truly a collaborative effort to create activities that inspire residents to stay healthy and active. Each of our Capri Communities offers a unique calendar based on resident interests and abilities. We develop monthly themes, arrange special events and coordinate trips all to make it exciting.
Enrich Your Life
At Capri Communities it is important that the family and community are involved in our programming. We offer a variety of community outreach activities with both local and national organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots and local Humane Societies. We value what you value – time to give back to others.
GROW Goes Beyond Capri
Throughout the year, our communities raise funds for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Alzheimer’s Association is special to us because it provides much-needed support to those with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias and their families. Capri Senior Communities has a long-term relationship with the Southeastern Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Association. Our very own James Tarantino and Glen Choban were co-chairs of the Waukesha County Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
