    Crystal Fiano

    Executive Director

If you asked Crystal’s colleagues how they would describe her they would say she’s ambitious, even keeled, diligent, and patient. Crystal loves the sense of community she feels at Village Pointe Commons. She loves that the residents greet her like she’s a friend coming over for coffee. Speaking of coffee, that is one constant in her days that are always changing and never the same, that and singing on her way in to work. Crystal would one day love to visit the Aurora Borealis in Alaska and visit all of the national parks, but for right now her goal is just to relax a little bit more! When Crystal isn’t working, you may find her cheering on her kids at their sport games, enjoying the outdoors, or watching a game of her favorite teams, the Chicago Bears and Boston Celtics.

    Kathy Rassel

    Independent Living Manger

Capri’s very own Mary Poppins – singing, happiness and fun abound when Kathy is around. Her kind, empathetic nature is evident in her relationships with residents and friends alike. Kathy is a natural born nurturer and excellent listener – believing that every person has a life story that is unique and wonderful. As a child, Kathy wanted to be a singer. Now her beautiful voice is inspiring others and can be heard leading resident balcony choirs. One thing that doesn’t make Kathy happy? Clutter. Kathy enjoys neat and clean surroundings, finding great pleasure in purging unnecessary things from her life. When not engaging with residents, Kathy can be found relaxing with her coffee, reading, painting, gardening or boating with friends. But more than anything, she loves spending time with her family who has her full heart.

    Katricia Roy-Johnson

    Life Enrichment Specialist

Katricia has worked in recreational therapy for over 10 years, so moving into the Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator role at Village Point Commons was easy. Katricia loves the amount of joy and experiences gained with her residents in her role. A typical day for Katricia is checking emails, followed by leading, planning, and/or facilitating resident activities, as well as meeting with residents one on one. Katricia has multiple causes that she cares strongly about that translates into her role every day, fibromyalgia, suicide prevention & awareness, Alzheimer’s and dementia, and being a mental health advocate. When Katricia isn’t at Village Pointe Commons, you might find her on her roof top patio meditating or stretching with her son, Aiden, or going for a morning walk with her dog. We love the bubbly, helpful, and caring person that Katricia is, we’re lucky to have her as part of our team!

    Amy Jacobson

    Community Relations Manager

Amy knew she was destined to work with seniors from a young age and, before joining Capri, dedicated many hours volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association. She is fascinated by learning residents’ stories and how they have adapted to life in the 21st century. Possessing a soft heart, Amy really enjoys getting to know residents’ families and is a passionate advocate for senior resources. The resident experience isn’t the only thing Amy likes to grow. She has a green thumb and looks forward to working her magic in the flower beds of VPC. Amy also loves pottery and has her own studio at home! Demi Moore anyone? One thing Amy doesn’t love… people who crack their knuckles. Ouch! When not at work, Amy can usually be found doing something outdoors, walking her dog and spending time with friends and family.

    Angela Rome

    Registered Nurse

Angela truly embraces enjoying life with her ability to make others smile, and by always making a positive difference in the lives of those around her! With over 15 years of experience, she always knew this was a role she could see herself in. Angela is a friendly, creative, and energetic team player, who prides herself in thinking outside the box! When Angela isn’t at Village Pointe Commons, you might find her spending time in nature, providing wildlife rehab or creating beautiful art pieces. Words to live by: “When there is a will there is a way”.

    Marie Post-Perez

    Senior Memory Care Manager

Marie starts every day with coffee, exercise, prayer with her husband, and meditation. She also chats with her sister everyday on her way to work. Marie believes setting up her day this way sets her up to have a great day! Marie loves that she can tell people, “My job is to bring joy.” She can’t imagine a better job description on the world! Marie is a genuinely happy person and loves to look for the best in people and circumstances. She brings patience with her to work every day, along with the ability to think outside the box. When Marie isn’t at work, you will find her spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids. She loves doing anything outdoors, whether it be riding bikes, taking walks, hiking, or bonfires in the backyard. She also loves working on projects around her house and always redoing a room or space!
