Carla Kostecki

Executive Director

Carla brings a deep commitment to compassionate, resident-focused care to her role as Executive Director at Harbor Campus. Her healthcare journey began in 2004 as a CNA in a skilled nursing setting, followed by several years as a Clinical Assistant at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. In 2018, Carla received her administrative license and transitioned into leadership roles in assisted living, where she found her passion for the administrative side of senior care. She joined Capri Communities in 2017 as an Assistant Executive Director before being promoted to Executive Director. She continues to lead with empathy and experience.
Outside of Harbor Campus, Carla enjoys life’s simple pleasures: spending time with her family and grandchildren, decorating her home, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. A former nail technician, she still enjoys pampering friends and family. Carla also finds comfort in classic TV shows like The Andy Griffith Show, which reflect her appreciation for the timeless values of kindness and community.

Maria Florczak

Sales Counselor

Maria brings a warm, hands-on perspective to helping families navigate senior living options. Before transitioning into her current role, Maria spent 15 years as a caregiver and continues to lend a hand when needed. She has a lifelong dedication to compassionate care.

Maria holds a CNA license and uses her deep knowledge of caregiving to support prospective residents and their loved ones with insight and empathy.

In her free time, Maria enjoys life spending time with her husband, son, daughter, and their family dog. They often take day trips around Wisconsin together. Maria also loves crafting projects with her Cricut machine, bringing her creativity to life through crafting!

Kathy Wenzel

Memory Care Coordinator

Kathy joined Habor in November of 2015. Kathy immediately demonstrated the unique ability to make a difference through connection and purpose for residents and their families in Harbor Campus’s Blu Grotto® Memory Care neighborhood. Kathy would stay after her shift to play the piano with a Blu Grotto® resident or chat with other residents in the neighborhood. In 2019, because of her creativity and her ability to connect with others, she accepted the responsibility and role of Memory Care Coordinator.

Kathy completed the Dementia Specialist Certificate program at University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and is a Dementia Live coach. She enthusiastically provides Dementia Live training to new staff members, families and the community. Kathy represents Harbor Campus on the Ozaukee County Dementia Friendly Committee.

“I’m proud when I see residents experience moments of joy,” said Kathy. “Piano lessons, Field to Fare kitchen time, horse races and games are some of my most popular and well-attended programs.” When she’s not working, Kathy enjoys making scrapbooks, exploring her love for acting and spending time in nature. Her motto in life is to treat others with kindness and show them the same respect she expects. Kathy is truly dedicated to making a positive impact and being remembered as a kind, caring and loving person.
