    Executive Director

Capri Communities’ Enjoy Life philosophy really resonates with Jeanne, who joined the Vista West team as Executive Director in July 2020. She is excited to be part of an organization with such a positive commitment to innovation and excellence. A good listener, Jeanne appreciates that each person has a unique story and values the opportunity to learn from every resident. Kind and authentic, with Jeanne, what you see is what you get. When not at Capri, Jeanne loves to cook, travel and spend time with friends. She also loves to laugh, so if you have a funny story or new joke – Jeanne is your girl! We are delighted and fortunate that Jeanne is bringing her laughter, kindness, experience and resilient spirit to Vista West!

    Caitlin Mattern

    Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator

Caitlin takes great pride in creating opportunities for residents to connect and form friendships within her community. Though she didn’t envision herself in this role initially, her background in in-home caregiving and her caring nature led her here. Besides her professional skills, Caitlin has a hidden talent – she’s teaching herself hoop dancing. When she’s not working, she cherishes spending time with her 3-year-old daughter, exploring playgrounds, museums, splash pads, and the zoo. With friends, Caitlin enjoys snowboarding and attending rock concerts. If she could share one lesson from her residents, it would be to embrace new experiences and not fret over the small things.

    Dawn Kleinfeldt

    Memory Care Manager

Dawn’s journey was driven by a deep personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease, finding profound purpose along the way. Her career is inspired by her mother’s resilience, raising a young family while getting a degree. Her enjoyment of being with seniors was discovered in her youth while spending time with her grandmother baking, crafting, and conversing.

Dawn is a compassionate and dedicated support group facilitator and knows she can make a positive difference in the lives of those experiencing dementia and their families. She has pursued excellence, earning credentials as a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Montessori Home Engagement Certification, Dementia Specialist, and most recently as a Dementia Live Coach for Vista West.

Dawn shares her artistic talents, inspiring residents to create beautiful pieces of art in the spirit of self-expression. Together with the Blu Grotto residents, she feels immense pride in their annual invitation to decorate and showcase their artwork in the Governor’s Mansion during the holidays.

Outside of work, Dawn is an artist, poet, and an aspiring guitarist. She enjoys visiting art shows and listening to music – especially the Beatles! Her personal motto is “Create Your Own Sunshine,” and she cherishes the wisdom and experiences shared by the residents, enriching her understanding of life.
