Village Pointe Commons Wins Real Estate Award
Village Pointe Commons was recognized as the Best New Development in Senior Housing at the Milwaukee Busines Journal's Real Estate Awards on April 15th.
What was once a long-vacant eyesore is now home to the 227-unit senior community with a variety of modern conveniences. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, this project is a boon for the village of Grafton, which had been bearing a significant financial burden after the Highland Ranch condo development (part of the South Commercial Tax Incremental Financing District) fell through after the housing market crash of 2008.
Jim Tarantino, founder and principal of Capri Senior Communities, worked for three years with the village of Grafton to develop a construction plan and financing strategy. Now, residents of the community enjoy multiple service leves to fit their individual needs along with modern amenities.
"Village Pointe Commons is unlike anything available in the Grafton and Cedarburg markets," said Tarantino. "Our goal is to contribute to the high quality of life for seniors here."
