Linda Smith,

Nurse Manager

As the Nurse Manager of The Polonaise at Wilson Commons, Linda Smith takes it upon herself to see that each resident is getting the attention and care they deserve. She feels proud to be a part of the outstanding staff that provides the care and companionship for the residents of this extraordinary community.

Linda grew up in Chicago, IL and graduated from Tilden High School. As a child, Linda spent her time fishing with her granddad and entering jump rope contests.

Although Linda has always had a caring spirit and compassion for people, her interest in nursing began when she helped take care of her grandfather while he was on dialysis. This interest in nursing led Linda to Rhode Island where she earned her Dialysis Technician Certification and then to the Milwaukee Area Technical College of Nursing.

Linda is always there for her residents and is very proud of her open door policy. She also makes herself available to answer nursing questions and give health tips. "I always take a few minture everyday just to talk to each individual resident," Linda explains.

There is not a doubt that Linda's caring nature contributes to the positive and friendly atmosphere at The Polonaise at Wilson Commons. "I love to keep a smile and make others happy at all times," Linda says. Linda is very involved with every aspect of the community and has even started special residential services such as providing in house manicures and pedicures on Sundays.

In her free time, Linda enjoys traveling and has been to the Bahamas and Virgin Island. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Anthony, Daughter Nikea and Son Anthony Jr.
