A Close Knit Community Renee Helback, Nurse Administrator at the Polonaise RCAC, comes to the Wilson Commons Senior Community with over 26 years of nursing experience. Renee grew up in Greenfield, WI and will be celebrating her 25 th wedding anniversary with her husband this summer. She has a son and two daughters, all in college. In her free time, Renee enjoys baking, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
Renee has cared for patients of all ages. For 10 years, she worked at a Neurological Rehab Hospital, caring for people suffering from traumatic brain injuries. “It was very rewarding helping the patients progress from a state of coma, to being able to return home and function independently” says Renee. Over the past 12 years, Renee has enjoyed working with seniors in Assisted Living settings. They have so many experiences and life lessons to share,” she says.
“Serving the residents at the Polonaise with dignity and respect is our main focus. We provide quality care and personalized supportive services, with an emphasis on safety, wellness and independence,” says Renee. The staff and residents make up a close knit community at Wilson Commons,” she observes.
Capri Communities offer a lifestyle that is filled with opportunities to participate in many social activities. With a fitness center, café, chapel, hair salon and on-site banking facility, the Polonaise provides amenities that help the senior residents continue to remain as independent as possible. With tasty, home-style meals prepared daily for Wilson Commons residents and visitors at the Prelude Restaurant, family members can be assured that their loved ones are receiving a well-balanced diet.
“We take great pride in our work and level of services we offer to our residents at the Polonaise. Both the residents and their families can always be assured that their loved ones will be treated with dignity and the respect that they deserve,” Renee explains.
