Gina Hopper, Manager, Killarney Kourt

Gina Hopper came to Killarney Kourt after a 20-year career in housing management. She believes that an open door policy allows her to take the best care of the needs of Killarney residents. “We want all of Killarney to be their home, not just their apartments,” she says. In addition to its spacious one and two bedroom apartments, Killarney has a community room with serving kitchen, private dining room for intimate gatherings, a chapel and full service barber/beauty salon.

Gina and her staff members work hard to create a warm and welcoming environment at Killarney Kourt. The lobby is beautifully decorated and her assistants keep the building looking fresh and clean at all times. Visitors are always welcome to tour or visit with friends who are part of the Killarney Community.

Killarney residents have brought great joy to Gina and her colleagues as they’ve become better acquainted. “There is so much talent in this building it’s unbelievable. We have musicians, singers, wonderful cooks, and so much more,” she says. Gina feels they’ve become like family and she does all she can to advocate for them in the community.

The Killarney staff builds on the strengths of their residents with exciting trips and activities all year long. “There’s so much going on here, one day we might tour Johnson Wax, the next day we’ll go out for lunch and then we may end the week with a day trip to the casino,” Gina explains. With all this activity, Gina and her staff live out the Capri mission of enhancing the quality of life for residents as they provide quality, caring management services. Killarney Kourt is one of many senior living centers and apartment communities managed by Capri Communities throughout southeastern Wisconsin.
