MaryAnn Creates Intergenerational Community at The Heritage

MaryAnn Glowinski has a special talent for bringing together children and adults of all ages to encourage socialization and at the same time independence for seniors. She has spent the last ten years effectively integrating The Heritage Senior Apartment Community with the greater East Troy Community. “We’re a community within the wonderful East Troy Community,” Mary Ann says.

One event The Heritage residents now enjoy is the annual Senior Prom, hosted by the National Honor Society Students at East Troy High School. Residents have a chance to dance, to talk with students and just have fun. Mary Ann has also linked The Heritage with local grade schools and churches so residents can enjoy lunchtime with students and staff at several East Troy schools.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, MaryAnn has also integrated her family members into the Heritage Community. “The residents know all my children and grandchildren and can’t wait for a visit,” she says.

It is very clear that MaryAnn has become attached to the residents who have made The Heritage their home. “There’s nothing my staff and I wouldn’t do for them,” she explains.

Mary Ann’s commitment to her residents reflects the Capri Senior Communities mission of providing quality, caring management services for senior living centers and apartment communities.
